Most Expensive Rolex Watch

Rolex has been known for making the worlds most exquisite, beautiful, and expensive timepieces. But did you know that the most expensive Rolex ever sold was a “Paul Newman” Rolex Oyster Cosmograph “Daytona”. It was sold at an auction  at a Sotheby’s event in June, 2003. The wristwatch, features a red dial and black sub-dials. It is said to have been produced in 1979. It was sold for £210,000. In  US dollars it should be around $350,000.

But there were rumors regarding a Rolex sold at Selfridges in London for a fantastic price of £8 million. That would be over $15 million, though it was never proved.
